Hi, I'm Akshada Bandekar, a Music Engineering Graduate student at the University of Miami, Frost School of Music.
I have an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering and a background in music as a singer, songwriter and performer.
Technological advancements and innovations in the field audio fascinate me, and I hope to contribute to this evolution of engineering in music by using my skills in audio electronics, signal processing, embedded systems and audio programming.

iOS Application that applies a Ring Modulator effect to audio created in Xcode using Objective-C
VOICE ACTIVITY DETECTION IN NOISE
USING DEEP LEARNING
Modified different aspects of the training and classification process of VAD using Deep Learning and documented changes.
Used the Speech Commands Dataset to train a Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) network to detect voice activity.
